"Missing shipping costs" in Merchant Center: what it means and how to fix it

What it usually looks like on a store

The fix sits in Merchant Center shipping settings, but your shipping page is what the rates should agree with. Gaps appear when shipping is set up for one country while the feed targets another, when rates depend on weights the products don't have, or when the store's own shipping page only says costs are calculated at checkout.
